suburbs". This love affair started in July 2003 for Toronto based photographer,
Henri Lin whose vision was to capture the soul and legacy of the village
of Yorkville. Over 4,000 pictures are available for personal or professional
use depicting the life of a modern Toronto village with a prestigious and

THIS IS YORKVILLE A SNAPSHOT A historic rural village founded by Joeseph Bloor, who's inhabitants served wealthy landowners and great houses of the escarpment, worked in market gardens along the street of Davenport, breweries, brickyards or tanneries or who traveled to work in the city of York. THIS IS YORKVILLE 1836 A historic rural village established at in a Golden time at the height of the British industrial revolution and apex of the British Empire. At time which saw enormous cultural, political, economic, industrial, scientific and class changes and prestige to the British monarchy. A time characterized by men who were gentlemen and woman were ladies, a time of chivalry and gallantry, simple life, common courtesy, values and faith.
